Did you go with the PRC 0.600 or 0.650 springs?

If you are on stock exhaust manifolds then look at the Katech LS6 torquer.

If you are short of cash go with GM's Hot Cam but you must have free flowing exhaust for that one.

You do not need extensive lift for what you are asking for. short duration and narrow centerlines will do it. Here read this: https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...manifolds.html

I'd save the Katech LS6 torque(204/218 112lsa, lift .551/.551") cam for truck use, with no advance on the cam it still only has a IVC of 34. I'd run at least a 210(.05") intake lobe with a 112 ICL.

Katech cam is way too small the GM hot cam has no ***** either

^^Proven otherwise here for both. I read the OP's post and responded to what he wanted= "Power to 4000rpm,afterwards just a bonus" or words to that effect.

How in the hell did I miss this... Post 4 or 5 I guess...

OP, get your car breathing and exhaling properly first, THEN worry about a cam. Why spend money twice on not only a cam, but all the associated gaskets and whatnot?

Thank you Martin, it is not the highest peak trq, but I fancy the length of rpm it carries above 400lbs
3500rpm to 6100rpm (346ci)

It does carry nicely. This one crested 400rwtq@3800rpm's and held it to 6000rpm as well.

More than one way to skin a cat and I know you understand this better than most Mark.

That car also made 464rwhp. TEA Stage 2 243's, 11.2-11.4:1(I can't remember), Fast 92/92. Goes by FEARLS on here.
