I've talked to Martin about this setup for my 408.

Silverbird97 have you made an air box yet? I'd love to see some pictures of it.

No I havent but I need to. I run open throttlebody at the track and when I cruise I have an Edelbrock triangle foam filter set up on it. I kills the responsiveness though. I'll be fabbing something up soon. Christmas is kicking my *** already so stay tuned.......it may be a while.

I assume you switched to speed density.

What did it take to do that?

Do you have a parts list for that conversion?

Do you have a picture with the Edelbrock air filter on it?

Thanks

I myself have just stepped up to the victor style intakes, and I'm very impressed. Throttle response is insane.
My mods:
416ci LS stroker
12.6:1 compression
Vic jr intake
Fast 1375cfm TB 4hole
Custom fti cam
STOCK ls6 heads
1 3/4 pacesetters and x pipe
25% udp

Car put down 505/490 thru stock heads, and thrue 3:91's and IRS. Made 400rwtq by 2700rpm lol. Obviously there is a **** ton of power in the table, the heads killed it up top were the single plain should shine. But I'm extremely happy and I have cnc ported ls3 heads and victor jr intake I'll be putting on aswell as a new cam for it all. Hoping for 575+rwhp.

Idle

0-130 pull with drag radials and 4 people in the car

Demonstrating how quickly it revs

For these next races the car was only making 480/460 as seen on the dyno graph.

Vs a 605whp Kenny Bell Cobra

Vs a 650rwhp 2.8 mammoth kenne bell gt500.

Vs a big single turbo Lexus

She's fun

All thrue stock rear axles stubs etc

Nice videos Cwarta. If I stay NA, I'm going to change to a Super Vic./4150 TB setup and get a different (much bigger) cam suited for a single plane intake setup. I'll also pull the heads, mill them even or and get compression around 12.5:1.

Unfortunately a super vic is not available for the ls3 topend. I'm planning on staying all motor, and I'm planning on breaking the gto all motor m6 record this spring. My ultimate goal is to break 600rwhp all motor.

Ordered these to compliment it.

Nice plates. Isn't the MAST intake available for the LS3 top end?

Good plan. Why the hell don't they make a Super Vic. for the LS3 top end when they make a Vic. Jr. for it?
