Question Power Sealed Lifters?

Have you guys ever heard of them. One of my lifters has been sticking off and on for over a year now, but I have been putting off changing them because GM replacements are $44 a piece. 44 x 16 = $$$ So I want to advanced auto parts the other day and to my amazement they carry power sealed OEM replacement lifters for $8.07. Is power sealed a respected name, will these lifters hold up to 918's. They are supose to be OEM replacement so I am assuming they are as strong as the GM units. Any feedback would be great.

An $8 hydraulic lifter? They are probably mistaken...I bet they are telling you a lifter for a small-block chevy. A SBC lifter will not fit the LS1.
Comp Cams has a high-quality OEM replacement set for about $200. Many of our sponsors carry them.

that is where you are wrong..the LS-1 lifters are exactly the same as the SBC roller lifters..SBC,LT-1,LS-1...are all the same

So...why do they have different part numbers?

CC 262-400 SBC hydraulic roller lifter: 853-16 or 885-16

CC LS1 hydraulic roller lifter: 850-16 or 875-16

Just curious?

Well advance part number is HT-2148 and shows all years that have roller lifter from the factory i beleave from 82-04's the lifter has 2 flat sides that slips in the plastic gides on the LS1 and LS6 and on the older motors has a springs type valey cover that has holds the lifter in line and straight to the cam shaft the lifter can not turn at all eather direction just up and down and some has a (H) bar that sits down on the flat sides on the lifter that holds two together

853-16 and 885-16 are retro-fit lifters..made for engines NOT originally equipped with roller cams..they are a link bar style lifter
