Default 5.3 & accessorie options

I picked up a 5.3 from a suburban, I am installing it I to my jeep Cherokee. The intake and alternator ate too high so rather than changing the hood around I can put the lower car intake on which I plan to do. What else do I have to change and which alt relocation bracket should I use? Ive seen some for $60 and "kits" for $450. I just need something quality that will work.

Different chassis for me (Nissan) but I am using an LS6 intake with Fbody accessories. You could also use the Vette accessories as well.

i used all the truck accessories with an ls6 intake and an f body low alternator mount, follow this link for how to use the f body mount....it will also work with an ls1 intake which you can pick up for next to nothing

thanks but i do still need the power steering pump, also would you think i should keep the alt higher since this is going to be a offroad application?

i don't plan on mudding this or going through feet of water so i'm not sure it would be an issue.

How did you space the alternator out to align right with the truck stuff?

Looks like you'll play hell checking/adding power steering fluid with that setup.

its not as bad as the picture looks. but it helped with the clearance between the power steering pump and the steering box.
