Default Which valves should I use?

So I am planning on sending the stock 243s off my 2002 Z06 to TEA for the stage 2 port job, but have not decided on what valves to use. I am planning to rev this motor out to about 7000 rpm and am looking for longevity in terms of valvesprings. the cam is 228 230 .571/.573 on 112° LSA and 110° ICL.

The springs are PSI 1511ML and the retainers are titanium. Planning on using stock rockers with trunion upgrade and LS7 lifters. have not purchased the push rods yet since i need to measure when i get the heads in.

the last component I havent decided on are the valves. can the heavier Ferrea valves work for what I am looking for? or should I look at turned down LS3 valves? What scares me about LS3 valves is I have seen some horror stories about them breaking. the other option would be manley hollow valves which were actually quoted to be a bit cheaper than ls3, but they are not as light as the LS3 valve.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

Do the Stage 1 port job and use the Z06 valves.

The LS3 valves are good. They break if you ram them with a piston. Just like any other valve.

Last time I spoke with TEA they said they dont touch the combustion chambers with the stage 1 porting. I feel this would be leaving some power on the table.

Just ask Mike what he recommends. I stayed with the intake valves that I already had in my heads(2.02) but If I could go back I would've done the turned town ls3 valves

What RPMs do you see with your setup now? do you know the weight of your valves?

I would definitely go hollow valves since you're running a beehive spring and
not duals. Mike told me that the stock seats can only go 2.02 so you'ld be
machining off 0.145" from the LS3 valve in order to get an intake that's only
0.020" bigger. He said it shows a few CFM inprovement but doesn't show
much if any on the dyno. Now if you had the 4inch bore LS2 or 4.065" LS3
engine then replacing the seats and going 2.08" or 2.10" would show some
decent gains.
Also their stage one CNC does most of the combustion chamber but there are
a few bare spots that don't look cosmetically "pretty". No two ways about it
though their stuff makes plenty of power. Here's a valve option 4 ya...

My TEA stg 1s flowed 312/256 past the stock LS6 valves
