Single or double timing chain?

the ls2 chain is a single chain thats aprox 50% stronger than the ls1. i thinks its plenty but call some speed shops for a 2nd opinion. ive been running an ls2 chain for 5 years with no problems.

Um building a 450 plus horsepower tire engine. At 40 bucks the ls2 chain is a great source. I just have nightmares about revving my engine high with a single chain so I'm just go dish out a 120 bucks for a double chaon. Either A Roll Master Or The Trickflow Double chain.

I put a Rollmaster Double roller in... it's more work.
If I had to do it over, I'd do the Cloyes Hex-A-Just with the C5R chain... I'd definitely do a chain with billet adjustable gears.
I'd also invest in a quality balancer and timing chain damper. I have the ATI on mine with the Katech LS6 damper. Both of those will save your chain from breaking due to harmonics...
