That's something pretty great to come home from work to.

Not engine related but I received R1 Concepts brakes and Hawk HP+ pads in today.

AI has received my heads and will start working on them somewhere between the middle to the end of next week. Anyone here know how long their work generally takes to complete once started?

I am stoked I can't wait to get them back. I am just waiting on the heads, custom cam, and my Mast windage tray and then off to Tick Performance I will head.

The AI Dart/RHS heads I got from them were finished up really quickly, but the heads were purchased straight from them (they had the castings there). If they do the CNC port work middle of next week, you should get them sometime the following week I'd think.

That's not too long at all, not that I am in a rush since my windage tray isn't going to be shipped for 2 weeks since they didn't have them in stock and needed to order it for me.

So apparently Kooks stopped making the 2" primary headers with a 3.5" collector. It is a 2" to a 3" collector. That means I could do the TSP duals if I chose now which I may do and just later have them run out the back of the car.

Damn, those would be some really nice headers for your application. I'd love to have their 2" to 3" collector headers too, but they are pretty damn pricey. Is that the route you're going to go? I think that would be pretty wise. You'll be really happy with the Texas Speed duals.

Only $888 from the ws6tore vs over $1000 for them. Yes I am doing the 2" to a 3" collector and I'll do the TSP duals and get them routed out the back later. It should save some money for other things that I need or may arise.

That's not bad at all. I figure I could sell my headers for around $350 or so to eat some of that cost.

If I do sell my Stainless Works long tubes, I'm going to include the Texas Speed true duals as well. That should get me close to covering the cost of the 2" Kooks. Then, I'll just run a bullet off each collector.

That's great news. How much longer after you get the heads until you'll have it up and running?

Hopefully around summertime is what I am shooting for. It depends on when I can get down to Tick Performance and how fast they can get my block machined and assembled.

I know I said I was going to do the TSP true duals but I just couldn't resist the Kooks setup so I just bought that lol. The more I thought about it the more I realized that is really what I wanted so that is what I bought. This way I will never need a new exhaust system plus it has a lifetime warranty which is a plus.

Nice. I'm sure they will be worth the money and mate up good to the headers.

Fitment was another reason I went with it but also after hearing some sound clips it sounds awesome.

Yeah, I guess the Kooks dual system has their own bullets, which do sound pretty good.

So the first box for my TDs came in but they didn't deliver the second box because for some stupid reason I had to sign for the second box and not the first.
