Callies and Wiseco are both great brands (I run them both in my forged assembly) but options would be determined by the direction of the build and it's intended purpose. Need a ton more info to help

I've been checking out Texas speed Thats probably where i'm going to buy from... The biuld i'm going for is street strip naturally aspirated prted polished l92 heads 11.5:1 comp. trying to get in the 600HP range... going in a 65 K10 Stepside. I am somewhat on a budget but its a long-term project so cost isn't super important but some bang for the buck would be nice.

i'm talking at the crank. I don't know what it'll take to get it at the rear wheels, but I've seen junkyard engines hit that... then some around 800 or more with a turbo

Are you trying to achieve more cubes? If not and your on a budget and na and "only" want 600hp the stock crank will be plenty fine. Good rods and pistons and your set.

I'm bumping it up to a 408... so I need to get a crank... and I'm trying to determine what brand to go with... I've heard things about this or that brand and wanted some opinions from guy's that have been working with these engines... like I said this is my first LS biuld.
