Default What to look for when buying a used LS6 intake with the fuel injectors

Found a guy close to work selling a LS6 intake with 47lb injectors.
Anything to look for? Anyway to tell if there is anything wrong with it?

would the 47lb injectors work fine with a stock setup?

You do not need the injectors for stock, and cannot run them without a tune. The intake is nothing more than a plastic box that you do not want to leak. Check for cracks especially around the opening for the MAP sensor and the throttle body.

Yes way to big for stock setup. If untuned they would wash out your cylinders pretty fast. Just swap your ls1 hardware to the ls6 intake and get the ls6 steam tubes for the heads

It's crazy how expensive ls6 intakes are now. You'd be better off just finding a used FAST at this point.

I can't freaking find one under $450...been consistently looking for months.

The last one I got was last year for $275 and the year before that for $300.

Now ls1 intakes are selling for $300 and ls6 $450-$500.

I agree, price of ls6 intakes has become stupid over the past year. Used fast intakes aren't much more expensive anymore. I can't find an ls6 intake under 400 dollars to save my life.

That is crazy. Last one I sold was 350, and when I pull the one off my car now, it'll go for sale for 350.

Well I just picked up a very nice looking / clean LS6 intake from CL for $350 so that is going in the pile of things to install and replace once I tear into the car.
So is there anything else I need to get for the intake before installing? Will the stock throttle body work or will that also need to be upgraded?
