I'll post a pic for you as soon as I get it off, hopefully tomorrow if weather permits.Me and a buddy did the heads when I had them off, which all I did was swap the springs anyways. We just swapped springs and retainers and used the factory locks.

Also does anyone know if you can buy just a single retainer instead of a whole kit?I wouldnt feel safe running that retainer again.Dart sells single retainers, but I dont think they will work on that spring that I know of.

I need to buy a valve spring compressor tool also that will remove just one spring and not two,the compressor I have will only work with the heads off.Do you know of one I could use for that?

Wouldnt I need one that only does one spring at a time though because of how that one spring is?Im wondering how im even gonna get that one spring off with it not having a lock holding it in place.

They do make some that do a single spring - google valve spring compressor or removal tool. But based on your picture it looks to me like the only thing holding the spring on the one cylinder is the broken rocker. If that is the case, as soon as you rotate the motor of loosed the rocker it will come off. You do need to secure the valve. How you secure the valve depends in part on where it is.

Glad you seen it before I deleted it, I forgot about posting non-sponsored stuff is a no-no. Hope it helps though
Like he was saying though, as soon as you loosen that rocker, that spring is coming off. Hopefully your valve is not already sitting in the cylinder bc then your only option is pulling the head again.

Would the valve fall all the way down anyways?texas speed said it would hit the wall and stay and I could just pull it up with some pliers and then air the cylinder up with the spark plug hose tool.

Look up tims tool on this site. Works great for removing springs while on the car and the price is nice also. If you are changing the springs while in the car make sure you get the air compressor fitting for the spark plug holes.

The prc kit includes valve seats and seals. Did you install those, or just run the factory seat/locator/seal? The locator can change the installed height also.

I would guess NO, since the stock seat/seal is designed for a single spring. Did you at least measure the thickness of the seats to make sure it wouldnt effect the installed height?

Yea they are not compatible with the dual springs,I just found that out.I should have known, but I got the springs from a buddy and didnt have the seats/seals with them.I know now though. So this is probably what is causing my problem, and thats what Texas Speed said as well when I called them today, they are going to go ahead and send me the correct seats and seals overnight.
