It sounds like your wallet wants a Honda but you don't. If you have an M6 you shouldn't see too much of a change. If you have an auto it will suck gas around town cause of the converter.

Here is a video I made today so you can hear how the cam sounds.

Next build I do I'd be definitely considering the SNS stg 2 !!

Yeah, the valve train is pretty quiet, but does have a little bit of that sewing machine noise, but that's to be expected with pretty much any cam. The Joe Gibbs LS30 oil really helps reduce the valve train noise. I will work on getting a WOT video once things quiet down some around here.

Ok cam update.
Cam sounds great. Initial results are in. 330 hp with converter unlocked on a stingy mustang dyno.
Long and short of it , I ran out of injectors. Was hitting 12.9 afr at 6200 and 105% duty on injectors. Looks like I need to upgrade fuel system to see full potential. Just not in budget atm so I'll have to wait and gather funds to finish it right.
All said, as it sits I think the power is about right atm. Just need to bring fuel supply up to par and I think should see another 15 to 20 in it. Probably go with about 42lb injectors.

Yes it was a 2nd gear pull. I suppose that would be a helpful piece of info that I should have included. :o
The curve pretty much went flat around around 5800.
Car is back at shop getting pump and injectors. No sense in having a car sitting around not finished right.
Also, wanna thank you again Martin for being so patient and helpful with advice and setup. it is greatly appreciated.

His tuner was worried that with the 3.23 gears making a locked pull in 3rd that the wheel speed/drum speed would be too great.
Something I've never heard anyone worrying about before with a cam only LS1, but every tuner is different.

New update on cam.
In short I am totally pissed right now at the so called garage that did the work on this motor.
No dyno numbers to add to thread. Shop didn't dyno it again after injectors. The car runs but I am very displeased with the work on the car for various reasons. I apologize if the thread seemed hijacked. Just wanted to give solid information on this cam.

To be fair,
the garage that did the work is trying to make good on some of the issues. I will let them have another shot at it considering I have dealt with them for many yrs and they have always done good work before.

Ported? If yes, by who?: yes brian tooley
Chamber size: 64.5
Head gasket: .040
Flycut? if so, how much?: no
Exhaust, intake mods: 1 3/4 ory dumped y, fast 102/102 port matched
Rear gears: 3.43 t56
Type of dyno? (i.e. mustang, dynojet): dynapak
450hp at 6500 tuner didn't want to go higher but it was still climbing.
its my only car im in the city so it could really use some gear it likes to jerk around sometimes, once .you get to know it though and use your clutch its a lot better. it has the tsp big maf in it which I think doesn't help the off idle drivability. but overall it has 120000 miles on it so im pretty happy with it
