Default Tick SNS Torquer Stage 2 users Come On In!

Ok so since this cam is so popular, I'm thinking it would be great to set up a thread where everyone can post their results. Since the cam is for ls1's, please only report if you have stock LS1 displacement. I'm thinking the format should go like this:

Tick SNS Stage 2 cam Version (Regular/Mild):

Heads:

Ported? If yes, by who?:

Chamber size:

Head gasket:

Flycut? if so, how much?:

Exhaust, intake mods:

Rear gears:

Dyno HP/TQ:
Type of dyno? (i.e. mustang, dynojet):

Track Times and Speed:

Thanks and I'm looking forward to the results. I think this will help not only me but lots of others thinking about this cam. Feel free to post graphs.

I would add Transmission and rear end as well, and for the auto's what size stall... I was T56, with stock 10 bolt

Wow, you have the best results I've seen with the SNS stage 2 by far. TEA heads, once again, making good numbers.

Thanks man.. You can hear the idle clip of my car on Ticks website under the SNS Stage 2 cam. The car had a lot of useable power. Made a lot of smiles and broke some hearts on the streets. Then I was bit by the Drag Racing bug... Needed a bigger cam after that.

I have the SNS Torque Max 2, regular (non-mild) version. I'm running that cam with Advanced Induction Dart/RHS CNC'd heads, milled down to achieve between 11:1/11.5:1 compression. Stock LS6 intake and TB. Long tubes with 3" Texas Speed duals, SLP lid, no MAF (SD tune). Runs like a rabid dog on meth. Made 420 on a very conservative dyno.

The power band is great. The idle sound is also great. Just make sure you set the idle around 800 to 850 rpm's. This cam, with a good tune, is very easy to drive. I don't daily drive my car, but if I had to, I wouldn't have any issue doing so. I also have a Monster stage 3 clutch with Tick master/speed bleeder. You'll at least need a Tick master cylinder. I did not have one at first, and my clutch pedal was always stuck on the floor. I then decided to just go ahead and put a great clutch in too for future HP/TQ.

My 231/235 sns stage 2 (cam only) is being installed this week. Should have dyno results mid week. Anxious to see what it puts down. Most I see are running this cam with heads. Being conservative I am gonna expect maybe 365whp on Mustang Dyno.

So you made 464rwhp and only managed a 7.7 @ 94? Did you have any suspension mods? Did you ever run it again?

I had no suspension mods other than some lca's. Even in the video I have you can see the weight transfer is horrible. I was on a 315/40-17 Nitto 555R tire... So it wasn't the cars lack of power by any means. I put a ET street on it, and snapped the driver side axle as soon as the light hit green.

The car now runs a 6.47@106.8 (on a 122rwhp shot) with a 1.43' 60' in case you were wondering.

Are you putting it in an ls1? If so, I did the same thing. Decided to be different. Love this setup and drives almost like stock, even with the 3.42s. Check my sig.

DA is a killer. 99.42 is his corrected MPH and 7.27 is his corrected E.T. to sea level. That is for mildly modified engines according to Wallace. 97mph is extensively modified engines and 7.36 ET.

Seems about right to me.
