Seems about right to me.
Yeah I plugged into Wallace to see. That seems about right given his power. DA plays hell.

Bluebird, nice video. I've been looking for someone running this cam too. Most m6's opt for the ls1 version. Any reason you went with the ls2 grind in particular?
So far I haven't found anyone on here running this cam like I will be. Looking forward to providing some helpful numbers to add to the database for anyone thinking of a setup like this on an A4.

Pretty much just wanted to go a little bigger. It didn't lose any low end but I think the car would benefit from steeper gears. I can drive in 6th at 1100 rpm with little to no cam surge.

Bluebird/Mark, do you guys know what your PTV is with this cam? Did martin mention about sacrificing any PTV over the LS1 stg 2 cam?

No idea. I don't recall Martin saying anything about PTV sacrifice vs the ls1 version. I'm sure he could give better specifics on PTV on stock 241's with this cam.

With the SNS Torque Max Stage 2 cam and my AI Dart/RHS heads, I had something like .060 intake and .101 exhaust clearance.

Where is Bluebird's video? I don't see one.

Do a search on Youtube for Tick 231/235. Came up close to the top. I actually saw the clip minutes before finding this thread.

Good to hear. So basically your quench is similar to running a cometic .040 gasket with a stock deck. Good to know PTV with that setup and your cam should be good.

Mind posting your dyno graph??

Yea I was going to go with the .040 until we decided to deck the block.

I'll try to post my dyno sheet tonight, but no promises, been pretty busy lately.

The LS1/LS6 SNS Stage 2 and the LS2 Stage 2 both open the intake valve at the same piston position (6.5 BTDC@.050) and close the exhaust valve at the same piston position(4.5 ATDC@.050).

The LS1/LS6 Stage 2 has a 107 ICL and the LS2 Stage 2 has a 109 ICL. Even though the LS2 Stage 2 has a 231@.050 intake lobe vs. the LS1/LS6 Stage 2 227@.050 intake lobe, the 109 ICL yields the same amount of valve lift@TDC during overlap with a 231@.050 LSL lobe as a 107 ICL with a 227@.050 LSL lobe.

This means that on paper both cams should have the exact same amount of P to V.

If the tune is good, it will drive perfect. I don't have any issues driving it, and while it's not my daily, it very easily could be. In regards to mpg, my tuner has my tune setup to run pretty lean at partial throttle and cruising, so I get good mpg's.

Ok cam update.
Cam sounds great. Initial results are in. 330 hp with converter unlocked on a stingy mustang dyno.
Long and short of it , I ran out of injectors. Was hitting 12.9 afr at 6200 and 105% duty on injectors. Looks like I need to upgrade fuel system to see full potential. Just not in budget atm so I'll have to wait and gather funds to finish it right.
All said, as it sits I think the power is about right atm. Just need to bring fuel supply up to par and I think should see another 15 to 20 in it. Probably go with about 42lb injectors.

On my setup, even with the Accel 44lb/hr injectors, my pump (stock for now) still needs to be replaced because fuel pressure was dropping to around 44 at WOT around 6500 rpms.

FWIW i'm running 36lb injectors and stock fuel pump without issue. Inj. duty cycle was around 70% IIRC.

I'm on FAST 36s and a racetronix pump. Not sure what the duty cycle was at but I think it's plenty of injector for my setup.

I've always been told that even with bigger injectors, the stock fuel pump is only going to be good till about 450 rwhp.
