You will not have any clearance issues with this cam and head combo.

What would you guys run for a head gasket? Would it be best to run stock thickness or could i run a thinner gasket? I plan on running a 100 shot.

My SNS2 (LS2) shipped out today, cant wait to get my beater back together, the results I have seen here are promising. I did go with the LS2 version for a few different reasons, mainly flexibility on upgrades, and the cam specs were more in line with what I was recommended by other "cam guys". Seemed like a fantastic off the shelf cam for my setup.

If your tuner is good. Not bad at all. It's pretty choppy. For a DD I'd go with mild lobes.

Very streetable with a good tune. I've only had a few issues where it won't find idle right away after driving without stopping for a while (which is most likely the tune). Otherwise, sounds great and gets down when you need it to!

I'll second that it's all in the tune. I'm running s holley dominator and it's very smooth. Idle isn't even as choppy as the stock ecu cars I've heard. Putts around st low rpm no problem. Also helps that mine is a stalled auto
