How did I Miss this whole thread? I must work too hard. Thanks to all who have tried our parts. We work hard to raise the bar. In racing we always say," If we are standing still, we are falling behind".

So with this in mind, we want to say that the sign up sheet for LG promoters will be mailed to you. We must have a current ID, and a boarding pass before you qualify to go to the gate. But if you are a 80 year old woman, you must submit to a body search. (god, what a thought). But if you are a 80 year old woman with a G5X-3 cam, you will be moved to the head of the line.

Drive slow.

Just ordered mine the other day also, got the g5x3 on a 114, can't wait to get it in and junk the stock cam. I'd also like to add that chris at lg motorsports was extremely helpful and was able to handle all of my questions as well as process my order. Hopefully it will get here this comming with along with everything else i need to make the car...
....Thanks Lg Motorsports

No one here bashed the X2 or X3. The are really good power cams.

The point you are missing is some of us know from experience that these cams to be done properly, have to have a stronger bottom end than a stock LS1, especialy the pre-01.

We just don't agree to put them on a stock bottom, that is all.
Show me one thread that says X2 or X3 are crap.
You won't because we never said so.

And for the comment
"you don't own one, you don't know what you're talking about".
Do you need to be infected with a disease to know it's bad for you??
If so human kind would be the dumbest specie on earth.

You believe and "we" believe.

I want and X2 114 for my forged 347, but I wouldn't put it on my stock 01.
What some of us would like however is a dyno graph of the X2,
Myself I would prefer a graph with a 114 on an A4.
Not wanting to put a cam on a stock bottom end is fine... however telling others they will blow up because of it when you yourself have no proof is BS in my opinion... You are entitled to do whatever you want and think however you want... but when you have never even tried the cam I Think your advise on this matter is a little biased.

I would say call him... looks like he satisfied the other two people on this thread that just bought X3 cams by answering questions... Lou is a great guy to talk to and stands 100% behind his products!

We have all said our piece.

Back to X2 114 dyno graph (Preferably on A4), anyone has one?
If not any X2 will do.

Maybe Lou has one laying around?

I have one, but its on GTP stage II heads... also through a 12 bolt, built tranny and SS3800... made around 430 RWHP if I remember correctly... it made 405ish previously on a TR220 cam about 2 weeks earlier before I did the swap

I do,
I will email it to you so you can post it up. We are redoing our web site so I can't host it.

it is a 99 Pontiac TA with our G5X-2 on a 112. it is the car that won the Magazine shootout for the cam and head cars at Ennis last fall.

thanks
Lou G

PS, I think most of the questions have been answered except for the specs, and I don't know them. I even kept them secret from myself so I wouldn't slip. LG

If you have to have the specs then you'll have it cam doctored. That's the only way you'll know.
