G5X2 and G5X3
Let me know when, and I am sure Nic or someone can rip them for us. GOTTA get some bottle runs, if I can hold onto the camera well enough
It just pulls, and pulls, and pulls, amazing! I can put it in 2nd, and be at 2000 rpm and hammer it and the tires just bust loose, sooo cool

Oh, and FYI... my car regularly sees 7000 rpm

I have an idea what they are
Didn't you just post you had valve float?

They just comment on how sick my car sounds and want to know what is done.
Several people have PM'ed me about the graphs I have for my car and my friends Z06 and if anyone else wants them let me know. maybe someone can host them and throw 'em in the thread.

Simple fact is you have no idea, your proof is what other people say, their proof is what others say, which is heresay. Keep in mind 50% of this board probably cant even change their own oil, and for them to make an assumption on why their engine locked up without any outside help is purely based on opinions by others with no mechanical knowledge. People insist they are right by "laws of physics" or by what "should work"... however anyone will tell you that you cant just slap an equation out, or think out a master plan in your head and have it be factual because there are too many possibilities for differences in each system. I am by no means the master LS1 builder, however I have had my share of blown engines, tearing down others engines, seeing problems up close etc... and I will tell you this... so far 7000 RPM has not yet been the cause for ANY. I blew 2 engines in my 98 Z28 and the car had a rev limiter set to 6400 rpm...
What it comes down to is you cant just pin revving to 7000 rpm on blowing engines up... there are too many other factors involved and unfortunatly you are blinded by your own ignorance and insist what you say goes without trying it for yourself...

I find it funny how the only people ragging on the G5 cams DONT own one... yet all the people with them rave about them... Do I detect some internet jealousy from non G5 cam owners?

No one here bashed the X2 or X3. The are really good power cams.
The point you are missing is some of us know from experience that these cams to be done properly, have to have a stronger bottom end than a stock LS1, especialy the pre-01.
We just don't agree to put them on a stock bottom, that is all.
Show me one thread that says X2 or X3 are crap.
You won't because we never said so.
And for the comment
"you don't own one, you don't know what you're talking about".
Do you need to be infected with a disease to know it's bad for you??
If so human kind would be the dumbest specie on earth.
You believe and "we" believe.
I want and X2 114 for my forged 347, but I wouldn't put it on my stock 01.
What some of us would like however is a dyno graph of the X2,
Myself I would prefer a graph with a 114 on an A4.

Along with your cam card.
How did I Miss this whole thread? I must work too hard. Thanks to all who have tried our parts. We work hard to raise the bar. In racing we always say," If we are standing still, we are falling behind".
So with this in mind, we want to say that the sign up sheet for LG promoters will be mailed to you. We must have a current ID, and a boarding pass before you qualify to go to the gate. But if you are a 80 year old woman, you must submit to a body search. (god, what a thought). But if you are a 80 year old woman with a G5X-3 cam, you will be moved to the head of the line.
Drive slow.
