Default Cant find a right rod

Cant find a high quality rod for my 5.3 turbo build. I have .945 floating pin wiseco pistons and i need a rod thats 6.098 or 6.1. Looking for callies or k1, something really good. All i can find to fit are eagles

Scat makes rods that will fit. Other than that you're SOL.

This is a 1000hp build. Not sure scat can support that. Unless it can?

Yeah, I've used them in a couple 800whp builds. Even Eagle H-Beam rods will support 1000whp.

Your machinist should measure it to see, just like with any rod for a big power build.

I like what everyone says about Compstars. Should i go with them or eagles. The lower i can pay the better but if its not a big difference id go with the compstar ($685)

For what you're doing, they're all about the same. They're all forged overseas and finished in the US. Callies is a nicer piece I think, but you won't know the difference.

Yea saw those. The difference isnt large. What should i go with? Callies is gonna need a bore and scat doesnt really. Honing the rod can add up. Would you go with scat or eagles

Scat's come with better rod bolts. Eagle does not offer the arp 2000 upgrade on the 6.1 rods
