New EPS 226/230 Cam In Hand - Recipe For 410RWHP? Current Dyno Chart & Some Questions
Still new to the LS world I picked up my 2000 SS M6 a few months ago. Here's what the car has:
POTZ Ported TB
Kooks 1 7/8 w/ORY & Borla catback
SLP Lid along with AIR & EGR delete
3.73 Rcihmonds
Recently dyno tuned and here's my final graph after the tune. This doesn't show torque but it came out right around 328.
I have an EPS 226/230 112 +4 cam along with BTR Platinum duals ready to swap in. Also have all the associated goodies needed for the install as well as new 36LB injectors.
This car is mainly just a weekend driver and I enjoy an occasional auto-x event with it. I really enjoy good power in the midrange and will likely be staying with 3.73s and stock height tires.
When I swap this cam in I will likely go ahead and pull the heads to replace the lifters for peace of mind. Money is getting tight but I would like to get this car to 410rwhp without breaking the bank.
My car has stock 853 heads and a standard LS1 intake (dyno chart above also reflects this) using this EPS cam what do you guys think would be the best path to 410ish? I know I will need a different intake for sure but my budget is limited at this point. I'm thinking maybe an LS6 intake and some port work on my heads? I have about $1500 left in the mod fund and a spare set of 241s already. Thinking maybe an LS6 intake and A.I's 205cc CNC package....? That would run me around $1200 total and leave enough leftover for gaskets and fluids and possibly an under drive pulley.
I'm open to any and all suggestions.

As far as the cam, for reference I'm running the same specs and my car is making about 450 rwhp through an S60 rearend with 4.10s. But that's also with a set of Tony's MMS 220 heads and a Fast 92 intake.

I would suggest ditching the Y-pipe and going to dumped duals. X-pipe worth more than you might think.
As others have said, def move up on intake. Also, like Whisper said, heads, but not in your budget for now.

I second the notion for true dual exhaust. Always.
Also, a Fast92/92 will provide you way more room to grow than the LS6 intake and is probably about the same price at this point.
A set of 243's would be a nice addition if you can swing it in this round of funding.
I would personally get the intake and exhaust squared away and install the cam/injectors. Get it tuned and running the way you want it. Then save for new heads. But get the intake and exhaust done before changing heads, that way the better flowing heads have the better flowing intake and exhaust from the start.
I don't know your budget, but the Advanced Induction 219cc High Compression 241's have always intrigued me, and I have always liked the numbers they put down. I bring that up because you mentioned already having a set of 241's laying around.
The West Coast Cylinder Head 213cc stage two 4.8/5.3 heads are also a very good choice for a stock displacement 3.9" bore LS1/6. They are ~$1100 and flow ~280cfm on the smaller 3.78" bore, the LS1's 3.9" block will only unshroud the valves more and increase flow. Not bad at all for the price.
If you can afford new heads entirely, I would go with Tony's new 223cc Sportsman heads, or a set of TFS220's from Brian Tooley.

I've got similar cam tf215 heads stock ls6 intake, injectors, and tb. Kooks headers and x duals all the way. Pulled 430 rwhp but only 400 rwtq a4 tranny dumped on me through dyno. Had tranny rebuilt and 3.73 gears installed re dyno on Monday. Hoping for no more failures and 440 hp and 430 tq.

thanks for all the input guys I'm gonna go ahead and have AI work over my 241s (standard compression) and install BTR platinums with titanium retainers and see what happens with this cam.
Also I do have an LS6 intake in hand now so that will be going on at the same time.
Now just gotta find a clutch. Torn between the McLeod RST or a Diamomd Stage 2.
