Drivabilite with this cam

Had this new cam laying around. It's a 224/230 @50 .609 .604 115lsa. Doing a boosted forged 5.3 and I know this cam will make power but will I have drivability issues? I know it's on the large side, I have not yet decided on converter stall, as I need a new trans and rear-endetails to support motor. If anyone could also recommend a stall for a street car. Thanks

Drivability with a proper tune, and aftermarket torque converter won't be bad at all.

call FTI for a converter...and yes that cam should drive ok and be fairly easy to tune even on a 5.3 being it has -3 degrees of overlap.

All depends on the tune. That cam is by no means some donkey dick cam that's not going to behave itself, but with the wrong tuner, you'll think it's the T-Rex.
