First,
240/244- Duration
.605/.596- Inch Lift
112 LSA
Second,
231/239- Duration
.617/624- Inch Lift
113 LSA
From what I have read the first cam makes more power than the second cam. Although the second cam has more lift. So is power made through duration? I thought lift made the most impact on hp. So my question is which cam has better "Drive-ability" and second which one would make more power?

Between those two would the second one buck more than the first one?
Also which would would make more power?

I am planning on a tune for sure after the cam. Do I need to springs or pushrods or anything mechanical with this cam? Or can I just put the cam in?
The better question is, what are your goals?
All of those cams will be choked off with the stock induction, maf, ls1 intake, and manifolds. Without addressing those youre literally pissing in the wind. And youd likely need inj as well.

My goals are for the car to run a low to mid 12 at elevation and/or make 400rwhp. Now I know those are not flip switch kind of goals. I have done gears in the car. Headers and an LS6 intake are next.
But really the cam makes a huge difference in getting closer to my goals. So if there is a better cam to get closer to those goals. I would love to see them. I am sure there is but I do not have the understanding to know exactly which cam will get me where.
The sound comes mainly from overlap as far as that goes.
A 228/232 is prob what i would use. Not such a bear to drive. on a 111. That would be th tsp 228/232. Youll make 400 no problem. Also on sale for $349 on their site which is an added bonus.
Id prob still recommend the dual springs and hardened prs, but that whole kit would be quite a bit better on price.

Titan 4 & FAST 92 or used 90, better performance & much better
Driveability than bigger cams & LS6 Intake.
Also if any vendors have a kit or something that would work that would be great.
