Thanks! It was a fun exercise - most people take these things way too seriously. All of the paint should hold up fine as it is Rustoleum engine enamel and is good to 500 degrees. The purple came out of a leftover can of Metal Cast we used to decorate some metalwork in our daughters' room. A good way to get the kids involved is making it visually appealing.

Developing 5 or 6 lobes. Part of our new SCREAMER line of cams. Made for high rpm. Lift varies from .600 to .625 so not ultra high lift but may have some .635 or so not 100% yet. We will have a 225 lobe, a 233, 239, 243 and 249 lobe so far. Lots of lobe area but easy ramps. designed to use a 1219x or better single or any dual spring.
Likely we will have a small displacement up to (5.1l 3.905x3.268) and a larger bore/displacement cam (like for the 333 and larger)
Should be interesting. A good amount of adv duration on each also.

I'm guessing you're working with some cam people here. Sounds good!

The rocker tip pad has its arc and pushing it .100” more than the factory cams gets sketchy.

TBH i haven't seen enough of an issue with wear on stock guides to do anything less than .600. I may run a few tests, but so far no complaints about the tsp cams. Nearly their entire line up has .600+ and most of BTRs as well at least on the intake side.
Lots of irons in the fire also, just seems a shame to tell people if using dual springs please shim the hell out of them if there isnt a huge need to. Duration at 6000+ helps alot but lift will as well imo. Pack it in to push it out...you know how that goes.

And .600” theoretical lift ends up closer to .580-ish net valve movement after all the deflections.
And I usually put minus locks on to set springs close to that “60 from bound” that makes them control better AND last longer

We will offer them with an 11/32 pr hopefully to get the best out of what we are wanting to accomplish with minimal modifications and a decent budget. Im going to run either the Pac Psi or Manley beehive with them for testing. After comparing everything the Manley seems like my top choice though for this one.
I keep mucking up your thread. Documentation is spot on. Keep up the good work!

You’re right the guides and valve stems hold up well. It’s more the rocker tips and valve tips that get ugly
