Little update.

after going to the dyno and seeing a small loss to the rear wheels, I went that Friday night to the track. 1st pass was down on mph but the rpm at the traps was higher. I checked the transmission Fluid and found it 1.25 quarts low. Topped off with fluid and mph went from 126 to 128.8 no changes.

I'd say the intake works but unfortunately no good data to show a number. The traps number is what matters .

then purchased some strange front brakes from Madman. Strange pro2 kit for my car since its heavy and a street car. Thicker calipers and better suited to the heat.
32 lbs off front of car and a huge drop in drag from stock to these. Stock would barely turn without me continuing to turn by hand on a lift. Strange will spin freely 7 to 8 full rounds with out much effort . Well worth the swap . My forgestar center cap wouldn't fit so luckily the strange dust cap looks good

Im not really into 1/4 mile but does aero help much or is it all about weight and power.
How would a flat underbody and rear diffuser go/ At 60mph youd start getting down force and the faster you go the more down force youll get, and theres no drag...
Just a thought

Aero helps a lot on the back half. As speed doubles, wind resistance quadruples.

Done some test to find out why I was getting hot on long drives, turns out i have a seeping head gasket leaking combustion gas into coolant system. Ordered new felpro gaskets and will be changing them out.
I am making some adjustments to the cam as well. Darth recommended I loosen my lash and build dynamic compression, so I'll probably also take a cc off the heads since they need a clean up and help build that a touch as well

Bruh, just go turbo already. When you want more power, you change a spring.

Changing cams, or keeping your existing?

these are mast cores with LME ports. 290cc .

still looking at the cam, possibly will change it.Darth suggested trying it as is and play with lash

. He suggested another cam and guess it is still in the air on all that. I don't want it to peak at 7700 like my ls3 head did ,but also not at 6500 either. 7000-7200 is deal peak and shift 500 higher

Something I forgot to post in this thread.
I scaled the car after the brakes were swapped.
so even with tubular kmember and lower a arms, bumper supports and Now strange brakes, because of the heavy dart iron block and 4l80 transmission she is still a pig.
3,841 lbs with me in it at 260lbs

Looks like I will most likely be using my BTR intake with CBM adapters to the Ls7 heads.
Carbuff on here used them on his set up and still made really good power with the same intake on his mamo ls7 heads over his Frankenstein ported trickflow ls3 heads . 53more horsepower and 15 rwtq so going to use what I have to start and see what it does.
I am going to take advantage of the 6bolt block and heads so I ordered 6bolt cometic. 040 gaskets and an arp head stud kit for the Dart Block.

when I get the old heads off I plan to cc the chamber and verify what my compression was, it seems it is something between 11.0 and 11.6 .
going up to 12.26 with ls7 heads so I believe that my same cam will give me the rpm I need and also add tq everywhere from the DCR bump.

I purchased these ls7head to ls3 intake adapters from a member here. Thanks Carbuff (Bryan)
I will be running my BTR intake. Plan is to flow the new heads with and without the adapters to see what effect they have. Probably be next Wednesday or Thursday doing that.

Heads are swapped, this time using 6 bolt per cylinder stud kit to keep the gaskets sealed.
. Verified cc of old heads and they were not 63 like id asked. They were 66.5cc. This dropped the compression from 12.08 to 11.59. Now im going to 60 cc which is 12.49.
. Cerekote my headers and valley cover, added a starter heat wrap under the intake also to reduce heat getting in to my intake.

waiting on new pushrods to deliver today so I can set the valves then I can wrap it up.

I just bought the btr before this head swap. Seen another poster in here use these and made big improvements over ls3 trickflow heads ported by FED.
I'll start with this and if it doesn't work out, I'll get an msd ls7 intake.
I like trying things. I'm not much for following some one else recipes.
