Default Tea stage 2 243 heads

I have a 2002 Camaro z28 car has 3.73 gears and a vigilante 3800 stall. I am doing a h/c this month and I wanted some projected track times. The car is a non t top car with ls6 intake,Texas speed long tunes, the cam is a 233-239 600 lift, and the heads are tea 243 stage 2s.

I'd say 10.9-11.4 from what I can remember setups like that running. Obviously track, weather, suspension, tune etc coe into play. All things being good I'd say at least a 11.1-11.4

That cam would prolly like a 4400 stall. IMO you would gain considerable drivability with a 228/232 sized stick and still have 10.90-11.20 potential. Plenty folks gone tens NA with F bodies and under 230 intake lobe

Definitely at least a 90mm snout intake manifold.

The stock snout on the LS6 is too small. The TPIS/LPE 90mm snout for the LS6 intake picks up 15+ cfm of air flow with the heads I've tested. This flowed about the same as a Fast 90. Cost $350 plus new TB

The Fast 90/92/102 are great options with more potential ported. Cost $550 to $850 depending on new or used plus TB.

Where does one acquire one of these 90mm snout LS6 intakes?? sounds like a steal compared to a fast 92mm combo.....

It's really not a steal if you will sell your ls6. Sell ls6 for $400, buy used fast for $750. Same money

Honestly on a 346 cube LS with your good sized 233/239 cam one of the Fast intakes will make more hp and probably be the best choice.

90mm LS6 can be a handy alternative. The 90mm snout LS6 flowed 265 cfm in my testing. Porting didn't help much. The 90mm .snout LS6 will be maxed out at ~270 cfm.

The Fast 90/92 also flowed ~265 cfm but when Fast 90/92 are ported they can flow 275-280 cfm. With bigger cams and high rpm, the bigger runner / plenum Fast intakes will make more hp.

These two companies can provide the 90mm snout mod for an LS6 intake.Lingenfelter Performance Engineering - LPE and Tuned Port Induction Specialities - TPiS

I have an 90mm LS6 on my LS1 383 91 RS with small 229/229 cam I'm happy with it.
