That's great news. Hopefully you had some brewskis while celebrating.

Good thing you actually did some checking instead of throwing a bunch of parts, time and money on a problem didn't exist....

I like 800. Sounds mint! Are you going to put it on a dyno soon?

Thank you. For now, I'm working with PatG through the mail. I'm logging and he's adjusting the tune. I've installed a wideband O2 to assist in that. Eventually, I'd love to get it on a dyno for some final tweaking and numbers.

I think 850rpm sounds the best of the 3, 800 is a little slow for me, I think 825 would be the hot ticket from a sound perspective. Super subjective however. Anyways, test each idle rpm out by going down the road and pushing the clutch in as you slow to a stop (do the same in reverse in a parking lot) and by doing tight manuevers in a parking lot with both the AC on and off. If they all pass the test then you can base your idle selection off the sound. You may find you prefer the sound of one but prefer the driveability or manner of another.

Agreed. Sometimes a faster idle makes for better overall driving experience at the expense of sounding slightly less cool. You can always rock a mullet...

I desperately need a Tick clutch master cylinder. It will NOT shift any faster.

What kind of clutch did you put in it? Tick does help but I think clutch helps more, I went Monster stage 3 with the light weight fly wheel and a tick master. Shifting is good but adjustment of the master is a pain in the ***.

Is the GMPP part an upgraded unit or simply a new OEM replacement?. PN GMP12570277?
