I couldn't help myself. I had to hear it run! The peace of mind was too close not to make it happen. We got home from eating out about 9:40. I had it running by 10:30 with the original intake and injectors. The videos don't even begin to do it justice. It's ear splitting loud, running open headers, and lopes like a monster!!! It desperately needs a tune! I was amazed that it didn't even have a hint of lifter tick on first start.

Nice to see someone mod a low mileage WS6 and not store it away in a climate controlled storage unit until 2040 and then send it to auction.

The FAST intake, 42# GTP injectors, and 92mm throttle body are installed. Now to drop the tank and install the Racetronix fuel pump and get the exhaust put back on.

Because a friend with only a BTR Stg IV cam and long tubes ran out of fuel. Is that not common? I'd certainly love to not drop the tank right now.

My cam is a btr custom cam and its bigger than a stage 4 and I have a ported fast 102 and in also on 42lb injectors and I didnt run out of fuel. Stock fuel pump will support 470 to 500rwhp na on 93. If your going e85 you need to change the pump but If not your fine.

I’d change fuel pump to have a margin of error.
Peace of mind.

My stock pump couldn't support my motor when it had the stock cam in it. My friends h/c 01ss has fuel pressure drop issues to. The best way to tell is with a gauge. But generally atleast a 255 is a good idea.

PatG says put it in, so in it goes. Like you guys said, better to just do it and not have to worry about it.

I got my base tune from PatG this afternoon. I filled the engine with coolant, loaded the tune, and it fired right up and idled nicely. This is only an initial base tune, so not finalized at all.

I'm anxious to get the exhaust back on it this weekend and take it for a spin.

Knowing Pat G's level of expertise, I bet he got it pretty close IF you described your setup to the nth detail. The more he knows, the better it goes...

This car had a dyno tune on it from 2007. I compared his to that tune and there are TONS of difference. I went through them almost in entirety and he touched everything!

Well, here's hoping the tune doesn't need more than minor touching up

My guess on power is it could make as high as 460 if you optimized a few things.
Get everything big and straight flowing before the throttle body, and put dual 3" on it and it should do really well.

I'd love to be wrong but as is I'm guessing 430 ish and as high as 445.

Seen guys with more make less. And then there's always some freak setup that makes 420-430 with hardly anything.

I would get rid of the single 3" with the quickness though.

Is the SLP air box w/K&N much of a restriction? I don't want a "hot air intake". What do you recommend?

Not sure what MAF you're running. May be keeping it back a little too. So big MAF or no MAF
It's been so many years since I played with F bodies I forget the go to MAF. I think it was the z06 MAF? I know a lot of guys just get rid of them when they want the most flow and do a SD tune.
