That is true. But those GENIVs also have an oiling circuit that is more longer and complex with high volume-needs because of those features. So not necessarily applicable.

Ive had plenty of pooched rockers but its in the pushrod cup or the rocker tip that has been damaged. The trunions have all been good. Yeah the 5.3 gaining value up to or above a 6.0L is laughable.

Fact remains that it STILL pumps a higher volume of oil, which does NOT suck the pan dry.
You're speaking of the downstream side, where the concern is the intake side.
