Default Help chirping noise!!

So my truck recently starting chirping and I thought it was something simple like a belt or a tensioner well needless to say that's not the issue. Sounds like the sound is coming from the passenger head. Truck isn't running bad or anything but it's definitely chirping and I'm pretty positive it's coming from the passenger head. 5.3 gen 3 block, 243 heads, port polished milled btr stage 3 cam with dual springs and trunion upgrade. Truck has had all parts at least 1 year and been running solid with no internal issues until possibly this. Thanks

9 times out of 10, the chirping is from a lifter that’s turned in it’s tray and is eating the lobe off the camshaft. Pull your oil filter and cut it open with a filter cutter or tin snips. That will tell the story every time.

I just changed my oil a few days ago and my filter was good and I even filtered my oil and didn't see anything. I pulled the valve cover and everything looks good there too

I would think it would pull a knock sensor code if it was a lifter. Wouldn't you think? I tried uploading a video and it won't upload for some reason

The oil flows from the sump to the pump to the filter.
You said you filtered the oil. As in what was drained out?

It's going to be in the filter. This is when you catch it very early. This was hardly making a noise, but it was a chirping tap. I have a video of it and it's worthless, can't hear it.

as in the oil I drained oil I filtered it with a rag and cut the old filter open and I didn't see anything. I ordered ls7 lifters and all the gaskets and im pulling the heads now. Ill take pictures once i get them pulled. I didn't order the cam yet because I wasn't sure if it would be damaged or not

If the lifters are chirping the cam is damaged.
I wouldn't have ordered parts until I found the problem.

I've stuffed and taped rags in the exhaust before to hear exhaust leaks. MLS gaskets can sound like a chirp, gets a lot louder with the exhaust plugged up.

It's not head-related. The bolts used depend on the block, the older of which have deeper head bolt holes.
Whatever you are using in your presnt block are the ones used on any other head you put on it.

I put a stethoscope on the head, the sound is definitely coming from the passenger head. I should have it broken down by today. Hopefully I see the problem

GM bolts cannot be reused. You mentioned studs. If you have studs, they are usually reusable.

I haven't installed anything yet but I ordered lifters, trays, head gaskets, intake manifold gaskets so far and I got it from summit. I told them what my setup was and they helped me choose the parts from there

that's what I'm asking, I do not have studs. It's factory gm bolts. So i order the bolts or studs that match my block correct?
