LS Head Identification
They are cathedral heads and have these markings:
Any help is appreciated.
There are no other manufacturers logos anywhere on the ends of the heads.
Thanks!
Can't tell for sure if they're both aluminum or what.
What are the casting numbers? That's the most important thing.
The date codes though, since the 2nd one is from a year ending in 6 month H (the 8th, Aug), is almost certainly an early LS1 head, as in, off a 97 Vette. The 1st, cast in month K (the 11th, Nov) of a year ending in 3, is probably a later model LS1 casting; although, it could be a 4.8/5.3, LQ4, LQ9, etc.
Not sure they're a "set". Might just be 2 heads.
Is one (the 1st) center-bolt and the other perimeter-VC-bolt?
