The block can take all the horsepower and torque until it cracks. When it cracks is determined by factors such as time, rpm, oil temp, water temp, cylinder pressure, timing and detonation. An engine might fail at 400 hp or 1400 hp.

There are no set numbers for that. It would be idiocy to try to even guess at something like this.

Yeah no set numbers for what your asking. In a race environment where you are WOT all the time, it would break much sooner than if street driven, which sees WOT very seldom. Too many factors to even think about trying to determine a lifespan. But, lots of guys put boost on a 6 liter iron block engine such as yours and it last for years on the street.

Most people say the Gen3 rods (Pre 2004.5) are good to around 600rwhp reliably.... and will eventually bend beyond that. Do yourself a favor and buy a 2005+ shortblock that has the Gen4 rods which plenty of people run to 900rwhp.
Take the time and gap the rinds for boost. I took apart an LC9 I bought and it was already at .030 ring gap! The ring lands in the pistons were super caked in oil residue so I cleaned the rings and those grooves out with a pick/cleaner. If the rings can't do their job as designed from the factory (oil control etc) they won't like boost for very long.
