Default Best heads for 500hp?

What are best heads for high rpm cam ls1 with 16k miles? Current tune has fast 102 with ported worked 241 heads. Put down 422rwhp @12.8 afr. Advanced induction is hard to get ahold of. I was looking at Frankenstein 240cc m115 heads. As they look to flow well but are pricy. Ai look to be only heads in that range other than afr or mass heads which are even more. Let me know your thoughts as I will be swapping intake for a msd 103 as well which I hear out runs the fast 102 when you hit 5k rpm. Looking to get close to 500rwhp.

ANY LS heads will attain 500HP with 8 to 10 PSI manifold pressure.

Just send Tony an email and he can tell you his options. Texas Speed has some 225 on the shelf heads.

If you want the best, MAMO Motorsports heads hands down! You can even send him your intake for porting too!

He will spec everything for you to hit your goal.

About any 243 can get ya 500whp. If done right I'm not even sure they need to be ported. Likely just a good milling to get the compression up. A little bowl clean and work the exhaust side some and your there.

Take about an hour to search and do a little reading in the Gen 3 internal section. There is an AI thread where guy sent money and hasn't received anything in months. He had to send a certified letter from a Lawyer to get a response. Tony Mamo has a 500whp build thread going over there.

Spoke to tech guy at Texas speed. He stated since I’m already at 422rwhp there are no head cam package that will get me another 78 hp even if I change to msd intake on a 5.7. Not worth money he saying. Running a base procharger will get me over that mark he stating. Shocked no heads out there can’t get me close to or just over 500rwhp with Westin have so far. Gonna see about a procharger.

I guess you didn't read my reply.......or look at my signature.

My 5.7 makes 548whp 444wtq on pump gas with ooollldddd gmpp cnc 243 heads that i cleaned up a little. So yea there are heads out there that can do it. They're just a gm casting.

I made 451whp 423wtq with oe heads and a stock cam....just a bolt on ls6.

But there's more to a combo than the cam or heads. 500whp with a 5.7 isn't that difficult these days.

Look up Darthv8r sbe thread.

I saw your post but not much detail on your build as there has to be more to it. I will do more reading before pulling trigger on anything. I was also looking at

XXTREME 245 LS1/LS2 CATHEDRAL 3.898 SMALL BORE. Any thoughts on these heads? https://promaxxperformance.com/produ...sold-in-pairs/

Your the only person to ever claim these numbers from stock or even cleaned up Ls6 heads. Dont you find that a little odd? They are not even close to anything realistic. Stop acting like those are your typical numbers from you basic LS6 head.

Your basic H/C LS1 is going to be 440-470rwhp. Port everything possible to port and throw all the tricks at it and you'll get 500. Jack the compression way up and you'll see over 500.Thats the fact of it.
Thousands of H/C dyno results in the dyno section prove that.

I definitely take stuff on here with a grain of salt but want humor post that make no sense. 440-470rwhp sounds about right. What are your thoughts on advanced inductions? They reached out to me but some commented in post negatively about them.

Unless your local, not worth the hassle. Plenty of people waiting over a year with no eta.

The question isn't so much how much HP you want to make but rather how streetable do you want the car to be. Several years ago I was at the track and a guy with a 2000 Mallet Corvette was there. The car had a radical cam and would barely idle. Sure, big cam, high compression will make big numbers but you might not end up really happy with the results.

I have seen plenty of radical cam na cars with 113 and 114 lsa very aggressive if tuner knows what they are doing it should not be stumbling on its face like a all out drag car.
