basically all of the sponsors will build you a quality shortblock. just call around and talk to them. then pick who you feel the best with.

Call up Terry at Racetech -----sponsor-------> he built my forged 6.0L shortblock with 8.8:1 compression (turbo engine) for cheaper than I found anywhere. First time I fired it up oil pressure jumped up to 60psi at idle and stayed there. Couldn't be happier with it. He's also building a forged 346 (ls1) for one of my friends/customers for a lot less than anyone else Just remember the turnaround time on a shortblock can be 4-6 weeks typically so plan for that.

So far, I'm happy with MTI. I'll let you know when I get it fired up.

Assassin,

What do you mean by "forged?" Do you mean just forged pistons and rods with a stock crank?

I was by there yesterday and it seems like he's already got a couple of badass setups in process right now. Racetech has some impressive pricing too
