On a 2001 C5 automatic, with the cam and vararam installed at the same time, we gained 65hp. Those two were the only performance mods.

Sounds about right with your mods. If you are going to install it soon, I heard Thunder has a sale on cam install kits.

I have a TR224 114lsa waiting to be installed here in my living room.
Everyone seems to be getting great #'s w/ this cam.. but you all have LT's.
I live in Cali and have JBA shorties for smog legality

Any estimates on what I might do w/ shorties? Mods will be:

Airhog filter
SLP lid / CAI
LS6 Intake
JBA Shorties
Magnaflow Exhaust
ASP Pulley

I will eventually get a dyno tune also.

I have my idle set at 925 for an M6. You can still tell there is a cam in there, but it's not too bad.

As far as the shorties, my car felt pretty good with the cam and stock exhaust manifolds as long as I had my cutout open. Sorry, I didn't get any dyno numbers in that configuration.

I have TR220 in my '02 Z with Hooker LTs and cutout and dynoed 371.4. My dyno sheet shows both before mods and after.

Idle is set at 900 regardless of in gear, in park, air on, etc.. I had minor idle troubles at first. Still has a big lope for being a 114LSA
