Doing a bit more looking around before I make the jump with heads and was thinking about the comp 921 springs. Anyone using these? Opinions on them? Overkill as far as lift goes but should easily hold up. Lemme know what ya think. Thanks.

Running 987's with a TSP231/237 here. This cam has softer ramp rates than others.
I'll be switching to 978's on my next swap. 987's will require machining the head, as they are larger in diameter than stock. If I still had stock diameter springs as an option, I'd go with Patriot Gold or PRC Duals.

Uh what? Do you guys even know what you are talking about?
My 987's held up for 10,000 miles and finally floated one valve when I tapped the 7,200 rpm rev limiter. Bought a new set and shimmed them so they had 150 lbs. on the seat and been revvin ever since.

Yes I do know what Im talking about, 918s are 3x the money 987s are. 987s are an $80 spring. Not that they are "bad" but a 918 will accomplish the same a 987 will with less pressure or more then a 987 with the same pressure.
240 duration cams, .615 lift, 7400 rpm banging off the revlimiter on the nitrous, 918s didnt even flinch. Not that i recommend doing it
