i say wait until you get a new intake and then do the cam and intake at the same time so you dont have to mess around with it again. but yes, ready for a cam you are

He has an '02. He has an LS6 intake. At this point a cam. Also look into a ported TB. Could see some good gains now.

Oh yeah. Traction.

Get a cam already! And if you feel up to it, port your TB yourself. I did mine, and it definitely made a SOTP difference, as far as throttle response goes...

yes... i have the F.A.S.T. 90 combo that will go on with the T-rex and a 3600-4400 converter....

does that sound like enough stall for the T-rex?

For the T Rex I'd go 4000 Minimum. For your future plans of a small shot of N20 I'd consider a Yank SS4000e or a custom converter. Running a stall for a TREX and N20 isn't optimal. You need a big stall for the cam, but you won't see great Nitrous gains with it and Vice a Versa. I'd scale it back on the cam and run more N20, or go bigger on motor and leave the Nitrous out of it. IMHO.

Keep in mind that when you get a cam, make sure you have money for a tune to go with it, especially with a cam anywhere nearly as large as the TRex. That Jet Chip in your sig won't cut it anymore....

right....the jet chip is actually reprogrammable.... so im only using its trans. mods with my HPtuners... theres a guy on here who im trying to get his tune... he has the T-rex and 90 combo.... it would be a good starting point.... i was thinking like the yank 4400 stall if no NO2... i probably wont end up doing the NO2... oh well... but deffinately will do the T-rex!

Good choice. Why not YPT4600 and 4.30s?

I see you have a Jet chip.
Did you notice any gains from it?

just added a little better timing and spark advance.... and better transmission settings.... it was on there when i bought the car... i just left it on there because it is reprogrammable... i can see the changes that were made with HPtuners...

if it were me id just buy HPT.... i did and very worthwhile... if you want the tune ill just email it to you...
