Default Help!!! my Z06 runs like A$$

hello all,
well today after a car show i was just leaving the car show when i notice my car sounded differen and felt different... like i wasn't firing on all cylinders! it struggled to idle and get moving... once i got it up to 70mph and held it there it drove like normal but under excleration it felt like 1/2 the car. sounded and felt like a bad coil pack or fouled spark plug or bad igition wire...the only thing i did was rev it up good at the car show... it wasn't cold but i did rev it good and then turned it off... the only codes im getting are the maf p0101H and the O2 p0140c....i didn't get to pull the plugs, but if its a coil pack or something how do i tell!!!

mods are headers, cam, x pipe, exhaust , msd plug wires,

o2's are gay they go out at the worst times. I think cold weather might be able to affect them, but im not for sure. Just turn the code off, and try letting it rest awhile, then start it up and drive it and see if the same problem is going on.

If your getting a MAF code , it may be bad . A MAF that goes bad will seriously affect your performance , because it cant read the amount of air coming in .

I would check my plugs and wires. I had a similar problem and as soon as I changed both it was good to go.

There is no need yet for wild guesses. The MAF code is evidence suggesting something wrong with the MAF. It could be a loose connector. It could be a bad MAF. The MAF is easy to replace. Weather can not affect the O2 sensors. Good luck.

People at car shows are generally good folks, but check to make sure all of your plug wires running to the right plugs. Also, check the air intake connections from the MAF to the TB. An air leak (in) can cause this type of symptom.

Check the MAF. Codes generally don't pop up randomly

Well, the only thing you can really do with the MAF sensor is to make sure the wires are properly connected and continous and to see if it is dirty or not. Clean it first. If it still is idling irregularly, replace it.
