Lingenfelter GT2-3 Sleeper Cam
A couple of questions on this cam. There is one for sale on ebay used for about a 1000 mile how much you think it is worth and how much horsepower can I get out of it. Also would I need to upgrade springs and can you tell you have a cam when the car is on idle?
Thanks in advance you guys are always great.

The cam should idle virtually like stock. You will need to upgrade the springs and preferably the retainers/pushrods as well. It will be a nice bump in power over stock more so if you get it dyno tuned. (recommended)
If you search for it you should get some hits. There were also some recent threads about it...

Research it if you aren't sure that is the cam you want. Better to try and get it right, or close enough to right the first time around.

That is for reference when it comes to "small" cams. The cam you are looking at seems to be more popular (based on what i've seen) than the LS6 cam. But unless you really want bone stock idle abillity and don't to run aftermarket valve springs I'd recommend going with at least a 224.

Sweet so if I get this cam and install the headers then port the throttle body get a tune and put the LS6 intake I should be close to 400 with a stock idle.

I'm almost done with my install. I did the s/c, headers and exhaust last year. Now I'm installing the cam, t/c, ls6 intake, ported t/b and suspension parts. I'm hoping to pick up 50rwhp with these new parts.
By the way, I bought mine new off the board for $275. You should see about a 25-30rwhp increase with a tune.
