Default prc dual springs vs comp 921's

I am planning on doing a cam install very soon! I have the lg g5x3 on a 112 lsa and I am wondering what spring kit will work good with this cam. I have heard theat the piston to valve clearance is very minimal and it would be best to invest in a good spring set like the 921's but the 921's are very expensive so i was wondering if any body has the prc springs and are they good or good enough to handle my cam. Also how do they compare to the 921's as far as longevity. Thanks guys any imput would be great

So these are strong enough for the X3? How is the longevity of them? I know some people with 35,000 miles on there comp 921's will these last that long as well?

I'm going to be running the Patriot golds, which are the same spring as the PRC. Same cam as you G5X3 on a 112 LSA. It's going in in a couple weeks...

Hey jrp thanks for this comparison, but im not quite sure what this all means it does appear the prc springs have the same preasure or close to it (im asuming this is good) but do the prc's have the same longevity as the 921's i know alot of people who have the 921's on the X3 with over 40,000 and they still havent experienced any valve float or signs of fatigue so if any body knows how the longevity of the prc springs are id appreciate the feed back

Thanks for the kind words lst200! I think both spring packages offer you a great product. We've had alot of good luck with the prc spring & they're pretty hard to beat for the price
