HOLY CRAP...help....metal piece in oil pan..PICS..**UPDATE**
What in holy hell is this. Could a ring be that big?
The piece of metal is a little bit less thick than a penny. The pic with the watch in it shows it standing on edge. Its inbetween the watch and the nickle.
Each end of this piece of metal have been ripped from whatever it was attached to. It also has a slight curve to it like it wraps around something. Hopefully it doesn't wrap around a piston

You can upload them onto tech with the manage attachments in the advanced posting menu. Browse for it on your computer and then click upload. If they are big you might need to scale them down first. Could it be needle bearings from a stock rocker?

I tried to load them using LS1tech management thing, what a joke. only 100 KB of space allowed. My pics have hardly anything to them at all.

The engine runs perfectly smooth, no smoke, nothing out of the ordinary. Sounds normal and very quiet.
If thats a piece of a ring wouldn't I be spitting something more out the pipes.

just a pic courtesy of jegs.com
I would do a compression/leakdown test if I were you... But I am kinda intrigued to figure out how a top - compression ring got past the oil rings... unless its part of an oil ring...... hrmm

I do not think its a piece of a ring.. it looks to wide like you said.. But, hard to tell from a picture. Also, it probably wouldnt smoke unless it was the bottom oil ring that broke and the bottom wring doesnt look like that..
