Default Finally fired up the 408 Stroker (video)

I finally had a chance to get the motor in the car. It has been sitting next to it since the middle of April. Anyway, I got the motor in and only had time to tune for the start up and idle. I think I have it good enough that I can start to log some driving to get the VE table into place. Here is a video I took tonight of it. I will list the specs as well. Let me know what you think...

It idles pretty nice at 900 rpm. Drop it in gear and it is rock steady as well.

Can you tell me how you got to a 408? Which block, sleeved or unsleeved, and crank stroke.

Thank you.

ovaltobowtie2 - As someone else stated 6.0 iron block, 4" crank, 4.030 bore

JFM - How have you been feeling buddy? I should have some track runs soon. I will keep you posted. What is going on with your car? Nice avatar by the way!!!

SSilverSSufer - Thanks, I love the way it sounds. The cam is pretty awsome. I went for a quick ride down the street last night and blipped the throttle and immediately went sideways. I was on 2nd gear in an A4. It holds a nice idle at 900rpm. I am going to try and back it down to 800 and see if it still will hold idle. Should lope like crazy if it does.

Brandon - I don't know what is up with that link. It works then it doesn't.
