Default PPL w/ TSP Torquer II, where do you feel your car start to kick in?? mines weird>

Just had my cam installed and partially tuned, just need to fine tune it a bit more though James at RWTD.

The car rides different from low rpm to 4krpm, then from there on it starts to pull, and then by around 5krpm it start to hit pretty hard. I was really expecting this thing to hit hard around 3krpm or a lil higher than that.

What's everyone elses experience??

It just feels weaker down low...

You definately need a tune to get this thing running right, otherwise you'll be stalling all over the place till the PCM learns how to keep it going, and your eyes will tear from the exhaust fumes.

Engine shakes pretty hard, and there is a bunch more engine racket going on. And I feel some things hitting now below my feet that never used to be there...

That's when i start to feel it kick in a bit, but still was expecting a lot more than what this is so far. My tires haven't spun out yet, and they are only T1S's!! i thought for sure in 1st or 2nd I would burn them up on the top end, they've stuck to the pavement...

I'm curious as well. I have that cam sitting in my living room right now, waiting for the heads to show up. Maybe the sponsor can ring in?

Bottomline is big cams need gears.
