LS7 Exhaust Rockers Has anyone tried installing 16 LS7 exhaust rockers on an LS1-LS6 or 4.8-6.0 GENIII engine for an OEM style 1.8 ratio rocker upgrade? Does anybody know if they'll bolt right in w/o any modification? Thanks!

try to post this in the LS2/LS7 section and see if you can get some answers. I know that the LS2 uses the same LS6 243 heads so every thing will fit on our LS1 heads from a LS2. But the LS7 is a whole new beast that not a lot of people has expierence with yet.

not sure, the new hot rod has an article on how the ls7 is built. Ithink it says something that the heads have standard rectangle intake ports, and that the valve are in different location within the head, so they require offset rockers.

p/n 12579617. These have a 1.8 ratio, stock LS1 are 1.7. The head gaskets don't matter. Whether it actually bolts to the stock rocker stand, and pushrod length are the only two questions I have.
