Default just ordered a new SB 408

Its being built by LME

408" Iron Balanced, blue printed and assembled short block. Eagle
4340 4.0" crankshaft, Callies 6.125" H beam rods w/ ARP 2000
7/16" bolts, Wiseco 4.030" forged nitrous pistons, Fire Power
rings(for high heat appications), Federal Mogal 152M main brgs,
Clevite cb663 H rod brgs, Dura Bond cam brgs, ARP main studs.

thats the run down...

I'm going to run the stock heads and the same cam until tax season and then grab some ET 240's and a custom cam for the motor.

it will be fun spraying about 300

My advice is this:
Racetronix PnP pump and harness (a breeze to install)
Also a Fuel Pressure Regulator at rail
And 42 lbs injectors (gives you somme room to grow)

I just went with a Walbro 255lph pump and Ford SVO 42#'ers. I didn't see any need for the extra money for the Racetronix setup. To each their own though.

Yeah, that is the cheaper option, BUT:
1- With the harness you get extra volts to the pump, therefore maximising its capabilities.
2- With a FPR at rail you maintain that 58 psi at WOT which is one of the main reasons motors go lean on top rpm, and poeple oversize their injectors they just can't maintain that 58psi..
3- You do not molest your fuel sock container and you still benefit from the use of it during hard cornering, while you will starve your fuel system by ripping it apart.
That is why Racetronix is PNP (plug and play) and very well done IMO.

I use SVO 30's on 600+ rwhp on juice (dry) with the injectors at 98% (for a few seconds). While everyone tells me that those would never reach these HP levels.
Pressure is the most important besides delivery.
