Default Will this setup get me anywhere near 750 hp on pump gas?

I was thinking of going with a forged 346 and a D1 prochargerfor my 2000 TA. My heads would consist of AFR 225 and a GT3 cam. I already have kooks 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8 w/catted y-pipe and planning on going with an 90 mm Lsx intake and 90 mm NW throttle body.. I would like to reach 750 hp or higher on pump gas and even more on race gas...Just needed to know what you guys think of this setup and if it's worth the money?

402, 408, 427... You would be hard pressed on 346 unless it was fully forged and you were running upwards of 15-20 Lbs. But I am not entirely sure that would do it.

I think its possible. You will need a forged bottom end for sure, great tuning, a fuel system to par, and lots of boost. A standard D1SC kit will NOT get you your goal. You will need the SDCE 8-rib kit and some sort of front mount intercooler, not the twins.

George Baxter was running ~1100hp in his Vortech supercharged 383 LT1 at upwards of 20 PSI...never found the exact number.

So yes, it is very possible.

I will be forging the bottom end w/diamond pistons, girdle etc. I think Exotic Performance will due this setup in the near furture.. Hopefully they will be able to get me close to my desired hp and tq numbers.

I think the F2 and F3 prochargers might get you a good size chunk as well.

Just Diamond pistons and a girdle? For 750rwhp you need some forged rods and ARP rod bolts. Dont buy the girdle and get some rods instead. Honestly the girdle looks nice but its failure to tie into key components such as the block will not make the bottom end as strong as you think. The mains are already 4-bolt, or 6-bolt, depending on how you look at it. The girdle is a 1000+rwhp drag car item, IMO of course.

Forged everything is in the works, what do you suggest for a crank Ferocity and do you think the heads will do? Keep in mind that I want this car to act as stock as possible. I would also like it to seem as if this is just another 500 hp procharger when people look under the hood and then BAM your mine....i.e the front mount would give it away...

i've seen a 406 sbc with a fmic and a d1sc make alittle over 1000 fwhp so the head unit is easily capable of the numbers if you can match your components 700-750 rw can be reached, not easily but it can happen.

If you want a stock diving car, then you will need more displacement. A 6.0L iron block bored .030 over with a 4" stroke crank will do the trick. Thats a 408 and will be easier to get power out of than a 346. As for the crank, I would go with Lunati or Callies.
