What CC are stock LS1 (99) cylinder heads?
I have heard of guys running the T-REX cam on stock cylinder heads (242/248 608/612 110 LSA) and doing fine(no clearance issues). So here is my question.
I have a set of Patriot 64cc cylinder heads with 2.02/1.60 valves with Springs good enough for .650. When I bought these heads, I also purchase the COMP CAM XER 232/238 .595/.605 112+2 LSA.
Will the T-REX run with no clearance issues and which cam will be better(make more power) with and without nitrous?
Thanks,
Jeff

Gunnar, These are the LQ9's that Force Fed had shaved down to 64cc. Does that make any difference?

Unless they did a set like that, these should be the LS6 style heads that we CNC a 64cc chamber in. So it is highly unlikely that these were a 72cc head that was milled.

The number stamped on the cylinder heads is 2828. I remember you told me before that the number is only actually an order number or something.

I probably should give you a call when I get a chance. Gunnar, thanks for staying on top of my question, and for doing things that most vendors can only dream about for customer service.
