That is not something that you want on a DD...I know that for sure. Sheet metal intakes are for race only. they are quick to heat soak for daily driving. Why not just get a 90mm setup instead of 2 smaller tb's anyway?

I have a 90mm set up. My car is not a DD, but even if it was I don't think having a non plastic intake would hurt, since most cars on the road have a metal intake manifold lol.

I'd like to know what advantages a twin throttle body would be from a single. I wouldn't think there would be any at all.

Please remove that link as well. We do not allow links or contact info to non-sponsor's. You should know that.

Sorry. I didn't know Harrop was a sponsor, though

I think they have an optional divider plate inside the plenum. They probably figured two throttle plates made more sense.

A twin or oval throttle body is easier to operate on a strong motor. At high rpms a large round single blade can tend to stick open, or not want to open at idle. Then it snaps open and you get more revs than you wanted. Going to oval or twins allows you to maintain drivability with a light throttle return spring. Its an extreme case though, there's obviously lots of people driving around with 90mm singles and no problems.
