Oops, well I got my foot in my mouth again didn't I. My bad. For most real world applications and the average joe street/strip guy a stalled 4L60e will run a factory stick into the ground.

ok then,i can agree to a highly modded a4 vs a stock t-56. in that circumstance the a4 should be better for your 10 bolt rear.but... what about 2000zrocks. im sure if he has some meaty dr's he can launch hard on that 12 bolt and personally i think in that case hes gonna smoke the a4. but danm we can stall at any rpm we like. and when i powershift 2nd to 3rd its like heaven that id never felt in any auto car id been in.even my 600 hp 454-R with a t-400 auto 4:10 gears and tci 4800 rpm stall. and i love my t-56 more than that

i must admit, that with a th400 i feel like my car would go mid 10's

my th-400 would fall on its face in 3rd compared to the 1 to 2.then when top end came to it would fly again. what could a t-400 do better. is it the off the line advantage of not shifting 1to2 or what.plus a t-400 needs a reverse valvebody so it dosent automatically shift you at 55oo rpm

my big block spun them tires trough 1 and most of 2 with that tranny. mabey it fell on its face in 3rd due to less momentum in the previous gears.huh. what do you all think. should i give the automatic a chance or should i be a die hard m-6

I have never driven a MS3 powered car, but I love the T-rex so far. It pulls hard as hell and with a good tune it is a good DD.

What kind of DD has a PT4400 stall and a T-Rex cam? You mention no problemo' with tuning? What amount of tuning are you talking about...tuning makes it work and bearable somewhat but DD, sorry I think your pushin' it!

Huh? You don't need a reverse valve body, you can also use a forward manual valve body .

Mine doesn't fall on it's face in 3rd at all, and I think you will be faster in the TH400 ( if drag racing is what you do), JMO...

Someone send me both cams or 1 at a time, and i will run them both, My car is 2900lbs 3800 stall 3.90 gears, victor jr, long tubes. I cant belive no one has tried both cams and have track times.

I found a cam that works for me and don't care on a comparison like this, it's alot of internet nut jockeying going on anyway . Pick a cam and go with it if it works your application. In the end, for me, the time slip is all that matters if your happy with it..
