Default Put my valve springs in today

yup about 3 hours taking my time and breaks lol . Now i just need to stick the cam in

No it is not the quickest, it only took me 30 min. Still pretty quick from some other installs, esp. #8

3 hours from the time you start getting the valve covers off, spark plugs out, compressed air to each cylinder as you are working on it, old springs off and new springs on, and everything put back together ready to roll down the highway isn't bad based upon my own experience installing springs on my car.

Then again, somehow it always takes me a lot more time to do the modifications to my car compared to some folks on here and I have the tools and a lift and usually an extra pair of hands.

I wonder how much time you would get charged at a dealer or other repair shop for the valve spring swap? Anyone know?

well it was my 1st time on a ls1 and i took about a 30min break in between sides and I took my time and took brakes so i think i did good lol and being 6.3 250lbs didnt help lol im not the most flexable person in the world lol damn back of my legs were hurting lol

Not bad, I just installed my TSP 233/239 w/spring pkg. Haven't gotten it all buttoned back up yet. I can't wait.

right on dude, I'm a big guy myself at 270, thats why I appreciated the crane tool so much, saved a lot of work. Those valve covers look real nice in there as well.

sanded them down and used some VHT high temp caliper paint that i had laying around
