5.3 TRUCKheads 75 dollars???
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/5-3-G...QQcmdZViewItem hey i was just curious as to what i would have to do in order to make these truck heads work on my car to get around 450 rwhp with a torqer two cam would it be worth buying these or buying them from a company that has already prepped another set?

If you plan on using those you'll need to replace the intake valves with something larger than the stock 1.898" and of course a complete valve job.
I bought a set and had a buddy of mine port them and put new seats in then set them up with 2.02" intakes and stock dia (1.575") exhausts...if you can get the machine work done cheap and get them prorted and flowed I'd say go for it. If you want guarenteed power I'd say buy some off the shelf with proven numbers.
Some of the venders will take them and CNC them for you...that might be a plan somewhere in between. But then again some of the vendors here have some pretty sweet deals on complete head packages.

Call Texas Speed and tell them you have a set of 5.3 heads you want ported and polished and they'll tell you all you need to do to them. You'll need valve springs to match your cam choice. You dont need to mill them at all.
