Finally did mine:

PCV Delete

My catch can was getting most of it, which was a lot. A couple teaspoons every 500 miles, and I have the LS6 PCV style that comes with the LS2, valley pan to the TB. I just had it tuned with the catch can on and the first run on the dyno picked up tons of knock. It wasn't until the first WOT run that we were able to clean everything out and throw some more timing at it.

My breather is getting clogged with oil or a regular basis. It is a sloppy mess to clean it. I think it's because I do not have a baffle in there blocking the hole.

Anyone else having this problem??

Mine is a DD and I wash out the breather with brake clean and use compressed air to blow it out about every three weeks. I welded a baffel under the oil inlet hole on the valve cover but it still gets a little oil in the mesh screen.

Id love to see more pics. either post them up or send them to me please. prolly just goin to do the breather in the oil cap, but still would like to see what others have done. if you dont have access to a tig welder to weld a baffle under the filler tube, you can use epoxy. Ive done this before to a buddy's ford motor (lots of boost) and it was pushing oil (from the oil mist in the valve cover) out the breather. the baffle help'ed alot.

I think I'm going to try the baffle idea. And I do beleive epoxy will hold it well. I use all types at work, I've seen some **** that is stronger than metal.

But will this restrict air flow for venting????

no not at all. you jus need to bend it in a way that will leave a gap for the air to go around it. so the baffle shoule be longer/wider then the opening. you'll be restricted by the shortness of the rocker cover and the height of the rockers themselves, and dont forget those rockers are moving.

You better check on the specifications of the epoxy in regards to how it holds up in HIGH TEMPATURE CONDITIONS .. that is the most important thing when using that stuff in this application .... it does not have to real strong it is only holding something that weighs a few grams in place with no stress or pressure being applied to it...one of my friends suggested that I use epoxy when I was fabing up my baffle...I checked on some of the industrial epoxies.. not the stuff that you buy a home depot..much higher quality than those ... in the end I knew that if it was welded on there would be no question about wether it would hold up or not over the long run ....I suggest you have it welded....there will be no concern about it failing then...just my 2 cents on the subject..

you could have messed up a valve seal when changing the springs. smoke at idle is usually a sign of valve seals.
