Those springs are fine, as for a tool, i would just go look in the tool section and buy Tims valve spring tool. Its only 30 dollars and works great.
heres a link to the tool https://ls1tech.com/forums/tools-fabrication/317675-tim-s-valve-spring-tool-now-available.html

i would call and ask Geoff at thunder what spring pressure they should be installed at, then just ask Gunner at Patriot at what height the spring needs to be installed at to get that.
But my guess is you should be fine with out shimming them, but if you want to be **** then go for it.

ok i will probobly do that...but i believe that the patriots already have more than enough seat pressure than the cam needs...but i will definately check.
The only things that i am going to do with this swap is:
PR
Patriot golds
Trex cam
new gaskets and ls2 chain.
of course fluids etc.
This should be ok right?
Thanks
Louie
